My First Trip To France:

Paris
Train down to Avignon
Provence-Gordes, Nimes, Arles, Rouillisson, Les Baux, Cavaillon, Apt, and Cassis
Cotes d’Azur-Nice, Fontaine de Vaucluse, St. Paul de Vence, Eze, Grasse, and Monaco
Fly home from Paris

Highlights of the trip:

Falling asleep on the bus during a tour of Paris (jet lag)
Getting a warm baguette from the local bakery each morning in the town of Gordes
Sleeping with baby scorpions who were “hanging out” on the wall in our house
Drinking Chateauneuf-du-Pape wine like it was water each night
Tasting truffles for the first time
Hearing the cicadas chirp
Entering the casino in Monte Carlo underage
