Drink On A Barge On The Seine

One of the most pleasant memories I’ve had is sitting on a barge or floating boat that is docked on the Seine River. I’ve done this twice and the first time there was a small group of musicians playing French jazz music. The second time they just played recorded music, but the experience was just as good.

My friend Laurie and I relaxed drinking rose wine and gazed upon Notre Dame Cathedral. It was the equivalent of “people watching” from a cafe in Paris, but this was even better.
